CINCINNATI - Burke Inc., an international leader in strategic decision support services, has hired Richard G. Miklautsch as a senior account executive. Rich joins Burke with more than 30 years experience in the healthcare industry in areas including marketing research, clinical research and strategic planning.

As senior account executive, Rich will specialize in both qualitative and quantitative assignments with Burke's healthcare industry clients. Rich also will assist with generating new business opportunities for Burke.

"Rich's proven experience and success in the healthcare industry will be a huge boon to our current clients and will be extraordinarily beneficial in helping us win new business," said Joseph Ottaviani, senior vice president of client services. Prior to joining Burke, Rich most recently worked for Cooper Research Inc. and Hill-Rom Company. He has also worked in the marketing research departments for Johnson & Johnson, Baxter and the Kendall Company. In his 30 years of professional experience, Rich has designed and managed more than 1,500 marketing research projects exclusively in the healthcare industry and has facilitated more than 500 focus group discussions on a variety of healthcare products and services.

Rich has a bachelor's of science degree in marketing from DePaul University in Chicago. Rich is a regular speaker at industry conferences across the country, including Medical - Surgical Market Research Group (MSMRG).

Rich will be headquartered in Burke's Cincinnati office.
